Capability 02

SEO &
Content Strategy

SEO and content strategy are about making sure the right people can find useful information when they're looking for it.

The work combines technical website fundamentals, keyword research, content planning, on-page optimization, and performance analysis.

Start with the opportunity, not the keyword list.

I begin with the existing site. I look at organic traffic, keyword visibility, technical issues, content performance, site architecture, backlinks, and how competitors are capturing search demand.

Then I map keywords to search intent rather than simply building a list of high-volume terms. The question is what the person searching actually needs and whether the business has a useful page capable of answering it.

From there, I prioritize opportunities across technical SEO, existing content optimization, new content development, internal linking, metadata, and conversion paths.

I measure performance against meaningful indicators including organic traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions, and contribution to pipeline or revenue where attribution is available.

Search strategy grounded in execution.

The questions I'd ask first.

01
Which products, services, or business lines matter most commercially?
02
Where does organic search currently contribute to leads or revenue?
03
What content already exists that may be underperforming?
04
Who owns website development and how quickly can technical issues be addressed?
